Quick & Easy Cherry Blossom Design

Yes! Nail ArtBox have another simple Nail Tutorial for you.

After Christmas design, it's time for Chinese New year! When you are all dressed up in your new clothes to welcome the New Year, your naily should not be missed out. I bet no gals want to be caught with naked naily when you go 拜年, especially when holding the oranges with both of your hands.

Let's starto!

1. Paint your desired based color. I chose a cream candy color - Mint Candy Apple from Essie.

2. Next, we will need some branches for the flowers. Using a thin art brush, dipped with dark brown lacquer. The lines dont need to be perfect, thats the easy part ! We will be having the flowers on top of the branches hence, there is room for mistakes =p

3. Using *dotting tool with white lacquer, dab on the branches. I using 3 dots to form 1 cherry blossom. You can use 5 dots to create 1 blossom too. They need not be exact same size too.
To keep it neat and tidy, have around 3-4 blossom on each fingers, 5 for the thumb.

*I have recieve enquiry what is a dotting tool and where to purchase it. I guess i will have a post soon to show you gals my DIY tools. So... Stay Tuned =)

4. Paint some single white dot on the branches too. This will create a picture of blossom with different sizes.

5. Repeat the dotting with the a soft pink lacquer. Slightly a size smaller.

I used bubblegum pink - Need a vacation from Essie. Be careful not to cover the cheery blossom fully with your pink lacquer.

6. Complete! Finish with your favorite top coat.

I like to have the ring finger with slightly different design. Using the same pink lacquer as based, and also using the dotting method to create the cherry blossom. You can chose to have all fingers with branches and cherry blossom. Its your choice! Lets be creative!
