Tutorial - Mini Floral: Dot and Draw
Some time ago, I promised on this tutorial for a gf of mine.
There are actual a couple method for drawing these pretty roses.
Today i will be showing the easiest method - dot and draw
i used acrylic paint, alternatively you can use polish.
i had tried using polish before too but they dries up faster than acrylic
Before painting your base,
think of the color combination of the base and roses you going to have.
Well, its up to your imagination
You need to have a matching base and rose color.
Have your base painted in your desired color.
Step 2: Outline of roses
you do not need to have a perfect circle dot for this.
its up to you to use a paint brush or dotting tool
i want to have two color roses, hence, i drew red and pink dots
Did you notice?
i had the roses in brunch of 3.
Its up to you to have them single, pair them up or in a group of three.
Four may be a little too crowded.
Step 3: Drawing the roses
Using a lighter shade or white to bring the details of the rose.
you jus need to draw "C" with a dot. Or you can have (o)
These roses need not be neat and uniform
this is what make the design easier
Step 4: Leaves
Using 2 tone (light and dark green)
draw an almond shape for the leaves
When the paint dry, apply your top coat and you are done!
