World's largest cupcake mosaic
Last Week, Singapore set a new *Guinness World Record today for the world's largest cupcake mosaic.
Thinking its for charity, and it will be fun.
Me and friends sign up to be volunteers immediately.

I think i'm getting used to doing naily, blogging and photoshooting weekly.
When my friends asked me to join her in this cupcake event,
instantly, i decide to do a cup cake naily design.
This is a nail artist instinct?

I find it amazing to use some many cupcakes and form a picture. the calculation, e planning and measurement. Start everything from stretch from a empty hall.
Not an easy task.

They started very early in the morning.

Briefing Time!
A video is shown and e volunteers are briefed on e process of making this gigantic cupcake mosaic.
We are helping out in e "frosting" part. The frosting is using colored fondant.
e fondant are already prepared and rolled out.
We just need to cut out e round shape and stick onto the cupcake.
Quite an easy task for me who did cupcake with fondant before.
There are quite a number of people signing up to help put this event. e helpers are spread into different session, carrying out different duties.
There are approximately 100 volunteers in each session
Area to for "frosting"
For hygiene purpose, all of us need to wear e hair net, mask and gloves. All jewels, and accessories are asked to be taken off

i cannot bring camera or personal belonging inside this area.
Sad that cannot show more pic during e frosting session.
But well, hygiene comes first
=)

This is approximately 50% done
they target to finish the whole 20 000 cupcake with fondant before evening.
These cupcakes will be delivered to welfare homes for children across 62 location in Singapore.
