Paris Paris!

Val going to Europe for cny!

So she decide to have a Paris theme !

Initially she wanted to add some "snow" in this naily design but after some thoughts, she decide not to. Thinking it might be bit weird to have winter Paris theme on her gel nails after back from the trip.

I show her the mock up I did for her and she likes it !

But we edit the "shopping" naily, with the word "Paris" on it.

Blending the gradient with 2 colors, lilac and purple. I love this color combination! Do you?

Time for Chinese New Year

Gold and Red is always the hot colors represent our Chinese New Year.

Red stands for auspicious and Gold for money!

Ms Sophisticated wanted some red and gold color for Chinese New Year too!

Using OPI Glitzerland and OPI Big Apple Red.

i painted a slanted curved gold french tips from the sides instead of the usual one from left to right.

Looking clean and elegant.

A sparkling crystal was adding on top of each red naily to add a little glamorous feel.

i have been exploring new naily materials, playing with colors and embossed nail art.
It has been some time since i do naily design that is suitable for Ms Sophisticated.

HeartS

As i flipped thru the japanese magazine, i realized that they prefer round/pointed nail shape more than square round. 
Hence this design is kinda inspired by the jap magazine. 
I seen they painted "m" shape from 3/4 of the tip onwards. 
This will form a "heart" shape.  
This design is more suitable for round/pointed shape nail.
If its painted on a pointed nail shape, the "heart" will be more define.

 

My little Black Dress

I love dress with unique cutting or dress with more detailed at the back. When i saw this dress, its a love at first sight immediately. It look like a simple black dress from the front, but from e back.. hoo~ its a deep V cutting with self tied bow. Maintaining classic elegance yet looking sweet.

Decide to wear this for a upcoming dinner, and this naily design is inspired by this little black dress.

Mint mint !!

No doubt that mint was still my favorite color till now. And indeed its e most popular spring color now! Previously i did mixed mint with gold foil, this time i mixed with OPI Glow up already. 

Simple is nice

I need to help a friend to model for her online shop. Everything is just starting up, so helping her out in some photoshoot. As there are few different clothes and styles, i need to come up with a naily design that is presentable and yet suitable for all her clothes.

i did a classy nude nails with some fine gold glitter. 

This is so simple and nice. 

And bonus point - easy to do and glitter is lasting.

Elegant and Shine!

I am attending my gf's wedding! 

As a "JieMei" (bridesmaid) this will be a whole day event.

We are required to dressed in white for e morning gate crash and followed by e wedding banquet dinner. Hence i decide to do alight colored nail which will match for both day and night attire.

I always feel nude colored lacquer give me a very classy, elegant feel. And i do like to match nude with gold. This is Ms Sophisticated favorite color palette! <3

Pretty Jane

This is a very simple naily design. Having no design at all, just with baby doll pink as e base. Adding pink/purple glitter to the ring finger,  shed some shine to this little plain Jane. And i pair it with my new necklace from Forever21 ! Perfect match ! With a simple tube dress and i'm ready for a date!

Vintage Roses

Thinking back, for e past couple months we have been busily buzzing around so many events. From Christmas, New Year, Chinese New Year till e sweet Valentine's Day which ended a few days ago. Whoo.. I have been painting my nails on these festival theme and whats up coming next?

Easter in April? Halloween in Oct?? 

Well.. Its time to have some "free style" nail designs. Which means i also need more creative juice to keep e design & pose coming in!

Lets Kick start e Spring with some floral design, with my current fav color - *Tiff Green. *They are more green than blue, so i prefer to called it Tiff Green ;p 

Colors for this Design - ESSIE Turquoise & Caicos, and Mint Candy Apple. 

And i have two perfect Tiff Green Roses ring to b e props in this shoot.
